DRAM in the Age of Mobile

Why is there a divergence of DRAM in the mobile market? With specific performance defined for a mobile product, OEMs look at memory as a critical subsystem. The investment in memory is a feature plus in mobile products. Custom DRAM is the future for mobile applications. (Rapid evolution of interface and configuration is the future for mobile applications.)
